Nerdy Girls Can't Be Tarts

Today's 2-Part Fashion Cocktail is my answer for balancing out the heavy vodka of a leopard print fur vest.

Let's note: I don't wear many vests, nor much fur, nor a great amount of animal print. But this baby was about $22 from Forever 21, which is the pricepoint I head to when I want to push myself & try something new. And if I only found a couple ways to wear it, it would have been a fashion risk worth taking.

My dose of cranberry to make sure I say Your Approachable Brooklyn Neighbor not Real Housewife of New Jersey, was spectacles. I mean, it's hard to look like a saucy tart while wearing smart spectacles, right??

Also a classic little white dress & neutral non-sky-high heels. Note: Hanging out around a light blue 1960's vintage car to make you feel especially Twiggy mod, also helps. Cars are an underrated accessory. Maybe I should throw a party in a lot of old classic automobiles. Instead of clutches, everyone gets a car as an accessory. It will be my Oprah moment: "You get a car! ... to pose with for this photo ..."
