Styling a Photo Shoot {part 2}

Part 2 of our behind the scenes look at how I styled the shoot for my website. {If you missed it check out part 1 here.} This 2nd look for {bow ties & bettys} included two of my handsome guy friends: Billy & Malik.

I've mentioned here before that there's a reason traffic lights are red & green: our eye is drawn to bright & shiny things. So I knew it was important that the brightest colors be on myself & the bow ties. The boys' shirts compliment mine, with the red skirt being a bright center focus, & a chunky necklace on me shares focus with the colorful bow ties on each of the gents. {Imagine for example one boy was in an orange shirt or a gray bow tie. Our focus would be pulled to one & not the other.}

Since I figured the boys would be in checks & plaid, I made sure to choose a different pattern top & after the solid dress for {grace & gumption} wanted a patterned skirt as well.
